Shared departures

Shared departures run on set dates so we can guarantee a real small group rather than a half-empty vehicle. If none of these dates fit, a Private Premium tour can start on any day you choose.

Departs

Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday

Small group, maximum 16 travellers.

Guaranteed departure promise

We need a minimum of 4 travellers to run a shared departure. If a date doesn't reach the minimum we'll tell you at least 14 days ahead, and you can either move to another date, upgrade to a private tour at a reduced rate, or take a full refund of your deposit. Private tours have no fixed dates — you choose any start date you like.

Zagora vs Merzouga

Zagora is closer and fits two days. For the taller Erg Chebbi dunes choose the 3-day Merzouga tour.

What to pack

Warm layers for the desert night, comfortable shoes, sun protection, a scarf.

Best time

Spring and autumn are ideal; summer days are hot; winter nights are cold but clear.

Flexibility

Reserve now, pay on arrival. You choose the start date.

Frequently asked questions

Is 2 days enough to see the Sahara?

Two days is enough to reach the Zagora dunes, ride camels and spend a night in a desert camp. For the bigger Erg Chebbi dunes at Merzouga, choose the 3-day tour.

Zagora or Merzouga?

Zagora is closer to Marrakech and fits a 2-day trip. Merzouga has taller dunes but needs 3 days.

Shared or private — what's the difference?

Shared runs on set departure dates at a lower price. Private Premium gives you your own vehicle, your own driver and full control over timing and stops.

How long is the drive?

Around 7–8 hours each way, broken with stops. It is a full driving trip, which is why it suits two days.

Can I book now and pay later?

Yes — reserve now and pay on arrival, with the itinerary confirmed in writing beforehand.
